Known by his RiTE family as the father-figure of the collective, he is the glue that holds it all together.
Jeff discovered his passion for music at an early age after receiving a small Casio keyboard on his 5th birthday from his future self. A self-taught musician, Jeff steadily evolved from a puristic piano and guitar background to including other instruments in his arsenal: bass, percussion and analogue synthesizer. This shift in interest inevitably guided him to the world of record production, film scoring and sound design.
Over just a short period of time, Jeff has led the charge in creating some of the most unique and ground-breaking record productions for an array of artists, independent and major. Electronic dance, pop, hip hop, R&B, rock, jazz and classical is where Jeff feels most at home, and wields his many musical influences like a battle-axe through the night.
Jeff also puts the left side of his brain to use, running the business side of RMG and managing the career of his best friend and multi-media artist, J.Kap.
Born in the future and raised in the past, he is known as a total jack of all trades. J.Kap has made a notable name for himself throughout Atlanta and the United States for his unique, off the wall music, videos, performances, and multi-talented persona.
After winning the world’s largest student film festival in 2006, the public really began to take notice when he unleashed his debut music video “i Owe?”, continued by his second single, “Hole In My Pocket”. His quirky and theatrical music style brings new meaning to the word “alternative”.
Although difficult to define, many describe J.Kap music as an offshoot of pop, combining influences of hip hop, classical, electronic and theatre. He would describe the music as “hipster hop with a swagger that will make your parents love you again…” Whatever it is, his music and unique visual approach have propelled him front and center as one of Atlanta’s most original and edgy musical acts.
Always keeping his creative juices flowing, J.Kap finances aspects of his rising independent musical career through other artistic endeavors, including photography, filmmaking, acting, and modeling. In 2010 he appeared on Tyler Perry’s Meet The Browns. He often directs his, and other artists’ music videos, commercials, and video promotional campaigns. Furthermore, J.Kap encompasses his filmmaking eye within his photography; making him the one-stop-shop for any multi-media project.
A modern-day renaissance man of many colors, his star is on the rise, and will continue to shine brighter than all of the other stars and planets and whatnot.
Born out of his mother’s womb literally with a RED Cam in hand, he mastered Final Cut Pro before the age of the three… before it had even existed. Colin grew up assembling and disassembling different household electronics and computers; in the process, gaining an uncanny knowledge of technology and physics.
Throughout time, he merged his passion of technology with the audio/visual world; paving the way for his unique mastery of the art and science of filmmaking.
Though only in his mid-twenties, Colin has already worked with the industry’s biggest stars on some of their most notable video projects including: Ludacris, Waka Flocka, Young Jeezy, Swedish House Mafia, Diddy, Jill Scott, Trey Songz, Wiz Khalifa, T.I. and Tyrese to name a few.
His standard for excellence is unmatched and he will continue to raise the bar out of reach and to oblivion.
Freddy has had the proverbial “entrepreneurial fire in his belly” since the day he was born. For as long as he can remember Freddy’s been the goto guy for small business and social media advice amongst his friends.
Freddy is not your typical web designer. He is considered a renaissance man of sorts with strong knowledge in social media, online marketing and small business entrepreneurship. He holds a degree in Management of Information Systems from the University of Georgia with a minor in Spanish.
Freddy runs the social media for RITE Media Group and for J.Kap, successfully pushing their Facebook pages and Twitter pages to thousands of members. Freddy also enjoys taking on freelance web-design projects when he has the time, particularly web sites for musical artists. He created this website you’re looking at right now!
In his spare time Freddy loves to travel and usually migrates to South America during the winter months where he lays in an incubative chamber prepping his mind to conquer all entrepreneurial endeavors for the upcoming spring.
